The entirety of this clinic is a recuperation ward (160 beds), housing elderly long-term patients. A recuperation ward is “a facility which provides medical treatment such as recuperation management, nursing, medically controlled care, functional recovery, rehabilitation, etc. for relatively elderly patients with stable conditions”, but there are also many patients here under high necessity for medical care.
There are both 4-person and private hospital rooms which are spacious and relaxing. Patients have a strong need for medical care even after acute phase treatment is complete, so our clinic’s staff does everything they can to ensure patients who require continued recuperation at the clinic can do so comfortably.

The nurses all work with “friendly, cheerful greetings to patients and their families as well as other hospital staff ” and “walking through the hospital and wards with smiles” as their primary goals.
It is mportant to have nurses who can respond to people’s feelings, so let’s create a nursing department and hospital which will make patients think, “I always want you near me”, “I’m glad you are here”, and “I’m glad I came to this hospital”.
